Julien Paolini grew up between Tuscany and Paris, where he is based now.
Prize-winner for his short novels, his first two features film has been acclaimed by the critics and festivals. His new one is currently in pré-production for march 2025. Before that he wrote and directed a series of short films broadcasted in festivals and TV from Africa to United States working with raw talents as well as famous actors.
His commissioned films explore a certain image of Cinema, combining actors direction, emotion and poetic treatment.
Julien Paolini is a representative of the new generation of European filmmakers attuned to the international market. He is an "author of images" who pays as much importance to both form and substance.
